Consulting
Counseling, both in the form of giving advice and in the form of consulting oneself, has developed from an everyday, helping social interaction to a professional form of action. It is increasingly in demand due to an increasingly complex and interconnected world and the loss of traditional support systems. The inflation of consulting terms is an expression of this increased need for and necessity of consulting. By no means does this always imply the existence of genuine counseling situations. Often the consulting label is used to conceal sales, steering or manipulation intentions.
We define counseling as a voluntary, usually short-term, often only situational social interaction between a (usually professional) counselor (counseling team) and a person seeking advice (a group or organization). Counseling maintains confidentiality and aims at helping people to help themselves by means of reactive or preventive support in case of information deficits, decision-making problems or being currently overwhelmed, on the basis of professional competences and with the involvement of laypersons and self-help initiatives.
Professional counseling competencies include relationship building skills, information gathering, and problem analysis through diagnostic, stimulating, and supportive methods using information, object knowledge, reflection, social networks, and natural resources. Change through counseling is based on cognitive-emotional insight and active learning and seeks to improve counselors' self-help readiness, self-direction skills, situation definitions, decision-making skills, and repertoire of actions. How counselor resources are used is the responsibility of the person seeking counseling.
Social Trade
In this part of our offer, we try to support both individuals and organizations in starting and building a social firm by providing a platform to allow individual social firms to easily exchange information with each other.
TZS Sozialconsulting itself is a social company and a member of CEFEC, the European association for social companies. The philosophical guiding force of our actions in this area are the ideas and guiding thoughts of Prof. Frithjof Bergmann, the mastermind of the "New Work-New Culture" movement.
Coaching
The coach accompanies and supports people and organizations in change and development processes. In doing so, he/she proceeds in a goal-oriented, solution-, resource-, system- and success-oriented way. The coach/coaching enables the client to develop visions, to discover own resources and own potential, to use them in a goal-oriented way and finally to realize individual solutions and desired results in professional and personal life.
Coaching is a continuous, time-limited and partnership-based accompaniment and support of individuals and groups or teams in the connection between professional role and person. Coaching is goal-oriented and situational, whereby the person being coached is responsible for learning and making decisions. Coaching is neither therapy nor professional consulting. Coaching is not a substitute for leadership or on-the-job training.
We speak of holistic coaching, because we consider the 3 perspectives work, relationship to myself and to others, as well as values and basic principles as belonging together. Coaching in its integrating function addresses, for example, the connection to principles in questions of content, as well as the relationship and emotion point. Our approach starts from the client's question and concern. Coaching takes place in the area of tension between the professional and private role. With the focus on the personality, it strengthens the ability of the person being coached to self-direct in professional development processes. In the sense of helping people to help themselves, coaching identifies and names hidden resources, among other things, and thus makes them usable.
