The project "Extended Choices for Young People in Vocational Education and Training (EC-YP)" is funded by Erasmus+ (Key Action 2, Cooperation and Innovation for Good Practices) and coordinated by GEMS Nordern Ireland. There is cooperation with five other partner organizations: Ballymun Job Centre (Ireland), Antares (Italy), Edumark (Netherlands), TIME Associates (Northern Ireland) and TZS Sozialconsulting (Austria).
The EC-YP project started in September 2014 and lasted three years. The aim of the project was to further develop, adapt and apply a flexible support model for disadvantaged young people and those at risk of exclusion in order to improve the outcomes of vocational training measures and pave the way for lifelong learning for the target group.
